Pick-Up is every Wednesday throughout our 24 week season. Pick-Up location for CSA Newark is in Newark’s Ironbound neighborhood in a building close to Penn Station.

CSA Newark: Pickup in the Ironbound
We are located close to Penn Station, on Hamilton Street between Bruen St. and New Jersey Railroad Ave. We do not grow any veggies here, but we received them from the farm and hold them for our members for pick-up. We have late pick-up times for those who need it.
Veggies grown at Circle Brook Farm
All veggies in the CSA shares are grown on Circle Brook Farm in Andover, NJ and shares are deliered weekly to Newark’s Ironbound, so members can pick up their shares locally.
CSA Newark was founded in 2011 by Evelyn Kalka and Alyson Schacherer. Alyson has since moved further west but Evelyn is still running the CSA Newark/Ironbound pick-up location for John Krueger’s amazing veggies.
Many core organizers and CSA members have made CSA Newark happen over the years - here is a huge THANK YOU to all of you, but specifically to: Stephanie, Kate, Cailean, Cynthia and Alyssa - you all rock!

CSA Newark/Ironbound is located in the beautiful Button Factory carriage way. A huge thank you is going out to our hosts, all the neighbors living at the Button Factory: you are creating a community!
All Circle Brook Farm CSA shares delivered to CSA Newark, the pick-up location in Newark’s Ironbound, are pre-packaged at the farm. We therefore include the annual packing fee (material and labour) in the share prices listed. However, most of our sister-locations (pick-up sites for Circle Brook Farm CSA shares outside of Newark) throughout New Jersey and on Staten Island let you pack the share from large buckets at the pick-up locations, and thus, the shares there will not include the packing fee. Have a look if one of those locations is close to you and would work for you:
